If you’re a sandwich fan like me, you will LOVE this easy vegan meatball sub recipe.  Not only is it super simple to make, but it’s also 100 % plant-based, soy-free and and sooo delicious!!

-Extra virgin olive oil -Minced garlic -Lentils -Parsley -Nutritional yeast

Mash the lentils in a bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients except for the breadcrumbs. Mix really well.

Make meatballs

Line a baking dish with parchment paper. Roll meatball mixture in hands til it evens out. Brush with oil. Bake at 400 degrees.

After broiling your buns, add your meatballs. Drizzle your heated pasta sauce over the meatballs. Top with vegan cheese and broil for a few more minutes.

Add meatballs to bread

Remove from oven. Top with some fresh herbs such as basil or parsley. Serve immediately.
