Cookies!! and Rescue Feature.

Some yummylicious cookies featured earlier on the blog.. Whole grains, low fat and super fun!
Vegan Mofo Post 9.. Hope you all had an amazing weekend!!

Chocolate Oatmeal Quinoa Raisin Cookie .. made these a bunch of times already!

And the never seen before Candied Beet Thins! .. I want to candy anything and everything now!

The rescue I am featuring today is the one I have mentioned on the blog before! They are based in a small town in India. http://www.animalaidunlimited.com/. They are 501c3 registered in Seattle, so all donations are tax deductible. It is easy to do beautiful work at Animal Aid. If you plan a vacation in India, spend a few days volunteering at this beautiful sanctuary.

In the words of the volunteers from all over the world..

"This place changes the way you look at life"

"There is an overwhelming feeling of positivity."

"All I see is hope and love given in wonderful ways every day."

"You are doing more than humanly possible to make a difference to the welfare of animals."

"There are tears in my eyes as I write this, I feel proud and honored to have been able to make a small difference, and to help you in your most heroic quest to heal, rehabilitate all the injured, sick, and homeless animals of Udaipur. You are all my heroes and I love you all so much. You will always be in our hearts."

"Thanks for making me feel so welcome. What really made this experience and this place a special one were the people. Thank you for all and everything."
