    Make this Cajun blend to rub with oil on veggies and bake them. Add some nutritional yeast and breadcrumbs when roasting veggies to keep the heat in control. 

    Make this Cajun Cauliflower over Garlic Pasta, or use in these Spiced Sloppy lentils, sprinkle over baked Sweet Potato fries, Or this Cajun Tofu Bowl.

    Cajun Spice Recipe - How to make Cajun Seasoning Blend

    Ingredients

    • 2 tbsp paprika , sweet + smoked, use more of one or the other based on heat preference. Smoky paprika is generally hotter.
    • 1/2 - 3/4 tsp cayenne
    • 1.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper
    • 1.5 tsp red pepper flakes
    • 1.5 tsp dried thyme
    • 1 tbsp dried oregano
    • 1 tbsp garlic powder
    • 1.5 tsp onion powder
    • 1 tsp salt (optional)
    • optional add ins for variation: crushed bay leaf, 1/4 tsp ground mustard

    Instructions

    • Mix all the ingredients and store in an airtight container for upto 3 months

    Small Batch:

      When is your next book coming out? I own your first two books and can’t get enough of your recipes and I’m so excited about the next book that you may write.

        🙂 I dont know yet. It takes a while to write a book with the whole planning, concept, organization, testing, editing, then more editing, marketing etc. I am working on one, but havent signed on a date yet. I keep publishing new stuff onthe blog, you can print some of them 🙂

        I usually get some from the local world spice store which has organic spices. Frontier or simply organic or penzeys are great too
