Adjust cumin for the earthy flavor, adjust cayenne, black pepper, pepper flakes and smoked paprika for heat. Use regular paprika for mild heat.

Hello! I want to use this spice to flavor red lentils and veggies (mushroom, zucchini and bell pepper) tacos I plan on making. How much would you suggest to use per cup of lentil veggie mix? I’m going to omit the red pepper and reduce the cayenne because I have little kids. Thanks! Kari

Start with 2 tsp and add more as needed

Just made this to use in one of your recipes (heading there to leave a review once I’ve posted this one!) and it worked out really well. I’m going to be using this often. Thank you!
