These freezer Chocolate Hazelnut Fudge Bars are super easy, and satisfy the sweet and chocolate tooth immediately.
Nut butter + chocolate + sweetener. Freeze. bliss! These are almost nutella fudge bars. Adjust the quantities to taste. Add more nut butter for denser bars, more coconut milk to make ice cream, more chocolate, because chocolate!
Use any nut butter for variations. Use seed butter to make nut-free.
Heading out to the dentist in an hour. wish me luck! There’s a big Peanut and almond butter recall. Please check your supplies.

Hazelnuts? Chocolate?
YES PLEASE. Double yes!
Holy wowza. These look seriously draw-jopping good. Er. Jaw-dropping good. The chocolatey fudge bar gooeyness is confusing me.
My boys love freezer fudge. Such a great treat in the summer. This looks so good!!

Sounds and looks terrific. It’s wonderful to be able to make a treat like this and not have to rely on store-bought junk.
It looks great. I love it.

Let me just say, “HELL YEAH!!!”
I have nut allergies. …Is there a substitute for hazelnut butter?
how about some seed butter. add more vanilla and chocolate to mask the taste.
I like organic sunbutter. Its just sunflower seeds!
I can’t wait to make these. My hub will love them. Yummy!
These look delicious! I can’t wait to try them out, and maybe even try the nutella ice cream option you mention. Yum yum.
Oh my gosh, these look amazing! I’ve been having a hard time finding hazelnuts, so I might have to try them with a different nut butter instead. I did find hazelnut flavoured oil for baking and it smells so good, so I might use a bit of that.
These came out so amazing! I am in chocolate heaven right now…. I intended to follow the recipe but I unintentionally doubled the chocolate by adding the whole bar (I needed it!) and I thought it would be yummy to add a little hazelnut flavor, the kind that you add to coffee. Boy, did this come out great! Thanks for the awesome recipe 🙂
Hi – quick question – did you use canned coconut milk or just carton/fridge? Thanks!!
Sounds yummy! I noticed that the brand of hazelnut butter you recommend has palm oil in it (horrible for health and for the environment). Found another brand with no palm oil. 🙂
I would like to know what brand of hazelnut butter you found. Can you please tell us.
When i wrote the post, i used justins, but that contains palm oil. Dastony and Jem’s are 2 brands that dont use palm oil. You can also make your own with raw hazelnuts http://thehealthyfoodie.com/hazelnut-butter-meets-dark-cocoa-powder/
Was delist!
Can this be turned into a Nutella spread? If so, how?
I have made this many times. It’s so good and so easy!!! Such a delicious treat.
great to hear Jodie!! Thank you. so glad
Made this last night. The easiest, most decadent addition to my holiday spread! Hazelnut flavor in there is so delicious.
