I did not get any time to click any pictures of the Spinach Corn buns and the hummus except one quick pic at breakfast time! The weekend was too hectic to think of blogging:)

Ingredients 
 

  • 15 oz can garbanzo beans , , washed and drained
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 dried red chili pepper or 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon tahini sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon kala namak
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • 3 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions 

  • In a pan, heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil.
  • Add the red chili pepper and the garlic cloves to it.
  • Cook the garlic on medium high heat for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • Add in the garbanzo beans and the spices and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Cool the mixture and blend with cilantro leaves and a little water.
  • Sprinkle the remaining olive oil and cayenne pepper before serving!
