Vegan Chocolate Recipes Overload for International Chocolate Day! Vegan Recipes

What! today is International Chocolate day! That means a change of plan.

I was editing some curry pictures then decided to showcase Chocolate goodness from the blog ..:)) What say.

Pictured above – Fudgy Milk chocolate Bark with Cranberries and almonds.
This is how we fell in love with cocoa butter. That thing is insanely addictive and melt in your mouth awesome. Hubbs wants a load of cocoa butter in every chocolate recipe or Indian burfi I make. Yes, all those Burfi bars which have loads of ghee(clarified butter) in them, can all me made vegan with this magical goodness called Cocoa butter! It makes them super soft and fudgy and even more delicious.

and this Triple Chocolate Salted caramel Brownie…:)

This one a bit tricky because the caramel consistency changes up the fudgyness leading to varied results. But They are darned awesome! And I am already working on a simpler version!

These Dark Chocolate Cookies. Spelt + almond + dark chocolate + cocoa …

Chocolate Whoopie Pies with spicy chile Chocolate Caramel.
    spice.. mmm yes.

There about 8 different Chocolate chip cookies on the blog too.
Find them in the Cookie collection here. 🙂
Or search on the blog for Chocolate chip cookie

These Zesty No Bake Chocolate bars.

Or these Ginger bread Chocolate Nut butter Truffles

Of course there are things like Chocolate yeast Bread Loaf too. Multigrain Chocolate mini Loaf.

And these Gluten-free Chocolate Pretzels. Intriguing I say

    More Cakes..

Mocha Chocolate Cake with Salted Caramel drizzle

And No Oil Banana chocolate Cake

1 minute Chocolate Mug Cakes. Hazelnut Orange and spiced cakes

Whenever I write something uncomfortable about the food industry, I seem to lose subscribers/readers, and that is discouraging. The posts are meant for information and the questions and answers to help anyone facing tough questions during transition. I would love it if you all stick around and make these recipes, like them enough to continue making them. Its all great, healthy food which also happens to be plant-based. 🙂

We were not born vegan, and everyone comes into the transition at their own pace. This is a reminder I have to give myself often too. Please Be gentle, vegans be gentle to non-vegans and give them time, and non-vegans be gentle to the compassionate and sensitive vegan souls too. 🙂

another cookie to add to the round up..

Chocolate Ice cream Quinoa Oat Muffin top cookie

What are some of your recent favorite Chocolatey recipes?
    Happy vegan month of food!

Before I became vegan, I could feel my blood pressure rise when I ate any type of chocolate…do you think vegan chocolate or cocoa will have the same affect?

I wouldnt know. You should probably try to find out if it was the cocoa, the sugar or the milk content i the chocolate that caused it.

I can’t often read or watch anything about the animal industry as it makes me incredibly sad BUT it doesn’t make me stop reading your blog. I just scan past it…

My calendar has not informed me of this special day. I don’t know how to find a good one as calenders are sealed when I buy them. How did you find one with such relevant information? I put this post on my Pinterest board for recipes. I also shared on Facebook with the advisory that if anyone makes the whoopie pies, they must send me one.

I was just going to cook apples for a caramel-apple cake and you’ve convinced me it should also have chocolate chips!

So. Much. Chocolate. Especially love the look of those ginger choc truffles. How did I miss it was International Chocolate day? I eat chocolate every day so I guess I didn’t miss out anyway.
As for choc recipes around these parts: I made Ricki’s Happy Hemp Choc Brownies a couple of days ago https://coconutandberries.com/2013/09/11/h-is-for/ and a little while back made some delicious Chocolate-Sesame Biscotti https://coconutandberries.com/2013/08/27/chocolate-sesame-biscotti/
