My mom loves savory stuff for breakfast/brunch, chat-pata (sweet and sour, tangy or spicy) for snacks or meals, Ice creams or a good Kulfi for dessert. Like This Saffron Kulfi Indian popsicle. pictured above.
Mom lives in India and visits every few years. Whenever she visits, she adds salt and red chili powder(cayenne) to everything I make, or anything that we pick up from a restaurant. Our salt and pepper shakers have salt and chili powder! Yes, that buffalo bomber from veggie grill, got a big splash of both too. That buffalo sauce, eh, needed some heat ;). She loves her Indian food but is also always ready to try other cuisines and amp them with the needed spice :).
This mother’s day round up dedicated to you Mom. You are fearless and strong, so selfless, so patient, are full of cheerful energy and vibrance, all of which I can only dream to be. I will be happy if I can get to half of all what you are. Happy Mother’s day!
